The services went very well, indeed. I enjoyed myself and it seems like lots of other folks did, too. I decided to go with a teaching regarding the lex talionis and how it's interpreted in Jewish law. (That would be the whole eye-for-an-eye thing).

Yesterday afternoon I saw a new women's doctor (thanks, Devo!) and I think she will be able to help me clear up some annoying things, like why I am going bald AND growing a beard at the same time. Seriously unfair, in my opinion.

She did a heck of an exam. All I will say is that I have now actually seen a home-grown corpus luteum - dang, ultrasound technology is cool. Also, it can give you WAY too much information about your inner self.

The expected congregational death has taken place and there is a funeral, burial and 2 shiva minyans in my immediate future. Whee.
