JiM's Dreams

Ah, a nice laid back Sunday morning. We had coffee, then drove to a not-too-distant farmers' market for local produce. I have to bring a fruit salad to a gathering tonight... you can imagine what's in season right now. I hope they like apples, strawberries, blueberries, mandarin oranges and coconut! My other choice involved avocado, which seemed a little too "Top Chef".

We also got a chance to cruise the local outdoor bookstore, with the breeze coming straight down off the mountains, which are ridged with snow this morning. Quick trip, as you can imagine. Now, there are potatoes baking and pot roast re-warming and the Husband is making gingerbread and the chicks are peeping behind us in their washtub. It's all so darned homey!
