Now this is an intriguing article...and it certainly caused a great deal of heated response on blog regarding whether or not Global Warming exists and who's to blame and whose political agenda is being touted. I think the single comment I can agree with is the gentleperson who said essentially, "this goes to show that we know fuck all about the planet".

Checking out this site http://www.nsidc.org/data/seaice_index/images/daily_images/N_timeseries.png
shows that we are still below the 30 year average in arctic sea ice, rather than global ice.
