I have lost over 25 lbs and had the odd experience of my shorts falling off because I had not tightened the drawstring enough. Thank goodness it was at home!
We went to a local fish store yesterday evening and bought a tuna steak. When I asked the nice man behind the counter if he would sell me a few fish heads to make fish stock, he handed me a bag with a humongous fish head and skeleton inside it (5 lbs worth) and told me to have a nice day. So we made gallons of fish stock last night and I found it made a perfectly lovely dinner with a little of the poached fish bits that were still left on the bones ( no more than a pound or so...). It's nice to eat real protein sources again.
I have been reading "Deep Survival", which Tiff brought. It's a fascinating exploration of various accidents and the neurological, mental and emotional elements that seem to contribute to survival (or not). I can recommend it!
