Hello from the Hall of Justice where I am cheerfully participating in the democratic process as envisioned by our forefathers in the 18th century. Or so the video tells me.
Actually, I am glad to be called for Jury Duty, although not sure if I would rather be reading in the Jury Room or empaneled. We have already had a few lawyers poke their heads in and leave hurriedly when they saw 200 of us waiting grumpily for our coffee break. There was also a procession of 6th graders to watch us do our civic duty. Fortunately, the poker game had broken up by then.
