The bookstore doesn't take trade-ins on weekends, so that was a hot journey for nothing. But Devo is here and we went bead-shopping and she made me a gorgeous light amethyst and peridot necklace as a present. Peridot is my birthstone, so it's perfect. Chatter and walk on the beach and radio listening and general enjoyment, despite not packing as much as I'd hoped.
I swear, I renounce all material goods.
