Happy Birthday to my beloved husband, who has taught me:

* the funny side of ADD;
* more obscure words than can be found in a Scrabble dictionary;
* that domestic bliss really DOES consist of taking the trash out and folding the laundry together;
* that sex is a great time for laughing - if you still have the breath for it;
* that everything is transitory - joy, sorrow, anger, desperation, fear, pain, creativity, self-confidence, cats, debt, success, depression and the batteries in the channel-changer;
* that a crazy birth family does not negate the fun of building your own crazy family;
* that coffee always tastes better when someone else makes it for you in the morning;
* that I have been loved by a very fine man, indeed.
