Because it seems to encourage whining to a larger audience than I would normally command for this kind of thing. Honestly. Ignore the previous entry.
I did the personality quiz linked to a friend's journal yesterday. I came out as "paranoid". Well, I suppose it's good to get these things clear. Although I tend to see myself more on the "PolyAnna" end of the spectrum. I never assume anyone is out to get me until they've tied me to the train tracks.
On the plus side, we have started planning the garden. Now that we have a large number of raised beds to make use of, solid crops like Black Aztec corn and wheat can be experimented with. A Three Sisters bed of corn, beans and squash is planned using heirloom varieties from a great mail order company. The more usual stuff like tomatoes and cucumbers and such can be easily gotten at a wonderful local garden center. Considering growth and planting is a happy thing today. Cheeriness may be on the horizon!
Off to do some actual work (as defined by my contract)...
